This Privacy Policy explains what personal data CreatorPlex collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights. We comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) and the GDPR where applicable.
1. Data we collect
- Account data — name, email, phone, workspace, role.
- Brand data — company name, GSTIN, billing address, payment method, campaigns, briefs, products, invoices.
- Creator data — display name, city, country, niches, follower counts, engagement rate, connected social handles, bank/UPI payout details, KYC documents.
- Usage data — logs, IP, device, cookies, click paths.
2. Why we process it
- To run the Service: match brands + creators, deliver campaigns, process payouts, invoice.
- To comply with tax + KYC obligations under Indian law.
- To detect fraud and abuse.
- To send transactional and (with consent) marketing emails.
3. Who we share data with
- Payment processors (Stripe, Razorpay) — only what's needed to charge or pay out.
- Shopify + connected commerce platforms — order-related data when you authorise the connection.
- Analytics and error-reporting tools (aggregated / de-identified where possible).
- Government authorities when required by law.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share creator PII with brands beyond what the creator has chosen to publish on their profile.
4. Data location and retention
Data is stored in AWS Mumbai (ap-south-1). We retain account data for as long as your workspace is active plus 7 years for tax/audit purposes. You can request full deletion — see below.
5. Your rights
- Access — request a copy of your data.
- Correction — fix inaccurate data.
- Erasure — request deletion (subject to legal retention).
- Portability — export your workspace as CSV.
- Grievance — write to our Data Protection Officer at privacy@creatorplex.in.
6. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for session, plus analytics cookies with your consent. See our Cookie Policy for details.
7. Children
We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 without parental consent.
8. Changes
We will notify you in-app of any material change to this policy at least 14 days before it takes effect.
